Glycerin / Waste Oil Burner

A by-product of making biodiesel is glycerine.  Up to now many people have struggled with exactly how to deal with the glycerine.  Not any more!  With Biodiesel Experts International, distributor of Ag Solutions range of waste oil burners solve this problem.  Ranging in heat output from 105,000 BTU to and incredible 500,000 Glycerine Burner.jpgBTU these burners emits little odor and NO smoke.   Dispose of glycerine safely and effectively.

You must comply with regulations on burners - these vary from country to country and state to state.  In many countries you require a license to burn any waste product that comes from non-vegetable sources (incl. glycerine produced from used cooking oil).  As such it is 100% essential you check your rules before purchasing one of these units.

The various proprietary components of our burner work in concert to achieve a CLEAN burn. Our waste oil burner meets or exceeds all EPA requirements for such appliances or devices.  You may need to mix approx. 10-12% biodiesel with the glycerine (this depends on the quality of the glycerine), and you will need to make sure the mix is "bubbled" to make sure it does not separate.  Our burner nozzles are stainless steel to prevent corrosion from the residual caustic.

Glycerine on its own (i.e. with methanol removed) has little or no calorific value.  These burners are NOT suitable for use with methanol free glycerine.  As a preference within our biodiesel process we prefer to recover methanol from the glycerine using one of our methanol recovery units.

The model B200 Waste Oil Boiler will heat 7500 square feet with a fuel flow rate of 1.4 GALLONS per hour.  The hot water output of 4 GALLONS per minute at 230 F offers outstanding performance for most uses.  The Ag Solutions waste oil burners distributed by Biodiesel Experts International insures low maintenance, highburner_2.jpg efficiency operation, and clean burning performance. A full suite of pressure and temperature gauges makes monitoring the waste oil boiler simple, and a re-usable oil filter reduces costs of operation

The Biodiesel Experts International burner is powerful and impressive.  A soft start tank which enriches the fuel to air mixture for immediate start-up with higher air pressure and purges the residual oil out of the system preventing nozzle dripping and electrode coking on the waste oil heater.  The special "soft start" tank enriches the fuel to air mixture for immediate start-up with higher air pressure, purging the residual waste oil out of the system.

This prevents nozzle dripping and electrode coking, two of the main causes of boiler failure.  The unique retention head, designed for waste oil Large twin heating elements prevents waste oil overheating - the major cause of pre-heater sludge and plugging.

The range of waste oil burners are unique in their power and performance.  They burn cleanly and efficiently.  BUT they don't just burn glycerol, they burn any waste oil*.  Waste oil can quite literally be oil that is drained from a vehicle during an oil change.   Waste oils can also be used transmission oils, cooking and vegetable oils, hydraulic oils, combustible synthetic oils or any oils up to 50 S.A.E. With the flip of a switch the Biodiesel Experts International waste oil burner will also safely burn kerosene and diesel/biodiesel fuel oils.

So now you know.  Glycerine doesn't have to be a chore.  It can be a major source of revenue or costs savings.  Use the heat generated to heat your vegetable oil, or offices, or warehouse.  OR simply sell it to other people so that they can heat their own premises.
